This weekend I was surrounded in so much love at my baby shower. Every detail was so sweet and perfectly thought out by my best friend, Sarah- I just had to share!
I loved the invitations! The top of the teepee had real sticks, and the entrance was a little piece of material with a peek-a-boo underneath.
The cake was incredible. It looked just like the invite and tasted SO good!! Don’t you love the little arrows around the sides?
These little mad libs were adorable. I can’t wait to sit down and read through everyone’s answers- especially the due date predictions! I am one of those weird people that loves hearing everyone’s predictions about the baby.
I don’t know how she managed to fit my big ol’ belly on a cookie, but she did. Another delicious and adorable touch.
My dress was from Asos Maternity (I swear by them!). I have to say, it was super comfortable. Everyone was shocked I was in heels- but honestly, after months of living in maternity leggings and running shoes, it felt good to get dressed up! My mom’s throwing me a shower for family and hometown friends at the end of the month- my mindset might change for that one…
With my gorgeous mama.
The beautiful hostess, Sarah. This picture is a little blurry, but it’s the only one we got together. Boo!
Sarah made sure to get pictures of me with all of my guests. I loved that she was on top of that, because there’s no way I would have remembered!
These are the thank you cards I’ll be sending my guests. Kind of a spoiler, but I really love how they turned out! I got them custom made by Sandy at Mustard and Grey Designs. She was a dream to work with, and super fast!
It really was the perfect afternoon, and I felt so blessed to be surrounded in such love and support. This little guy is so lucky to have these wonderful women in his life. Another thank you to Sarah for making this mama-to-be so happy.
