Churro Chips

I made these Churro Chips for Cinco de Mayo, and they’re fantastic! I didn’t include measurements in the recipe, because it depends on how many you’d like to make. Just make sure tortillas are evenly coated with each ingredient and you’re good. I served mine with vanilla ice-cream, but you could also make a fruit salsa or drizzle with melted chocolate!

Churro Chips

Ingredients

  • Flour tortillas
  • Melted butter
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. On a small plate, mix equal parts cinnamon and sugar
  3. Brush flour tortillas with butter and coat both sides with cinnamon/sugar mixture
  4. Stack coated tortillas for easy cutting
  5. Cut tortillas into chips (I cut them like a pizza to create triangles)
  6. Put on a greased sheet pan and cook for 10 mins, flipping once halfway through
