My Coffee-mate Sweet Throwback

Isn’t it crazy how certain flavors can transport you right back to a special time in your life?

Today, I’m partnering with Coffee-mate to talk about my childhood memory of ice-cold cookies. You totally read that right. Some people like cookies warm out of the oven, but when you grow up in the hot California sun, there’s nothing like nibbling…or should I say gnawing…on a cool treat.

My mom has always put our cookies in the freezer. I know that she originally did it so she could pull out a small portion at a time and keep my brother and I in check; but that didn’t work for long. I remember crunching on cold cookies during sunny days by the pool (frozen cookies also hold up better in wet hands).

My days of eating chilly cookies by the box are over, except for the occasional Bachelorette finale, so when Coffee-mate introduced me to their awesome throwback flavors, I wanted to do a cannon ball all over again!

The throwback flavor that reminds me of delicious childhood memories is definitely the Nestlé Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookie flavored creamer! I mix a small spoonful into my iced coffee, and I’m back in frozen cookie heaven. This flavor is pure nostalgia and takes my cold brew to another level.

I’m so excited to re-create this memory with Coffee-mate in an upcoming post! There are so many fun ways to use their throwback flavors!

What flavors remind you of special memories?
