There are so many things I miss about being a kid: back-to-school shopping (I keep trying to convince my parents to make it a thing again), sleeping in past 6am and after-school snacks! After school I was babysat with my best friend, so I have pretty fond memories of our time together. When Oscar Mayer asked me to share one of my favorite recipes using their Oscar Mayer Selects Natural, it was a no brainer. I might have to make them myself now, but it’s a snack that’s stuck with me over the years. These Turkey Roll-Ups are flavorful, balanced and perfect for a quick pick-me-up.
I always have containers of sliced fruits and veggies on hand so I can snack during the day, so this recipe changes based on what’s in my fridge- but here’s one of my favorite combos:
Spoon 1 tablespoon of cottage cheese into 2 layered slices of Oscar Mayer Selects Natural Chicken. Top with sliced cucumbers and roll up! The cottage cheese is cold and creamy, the chicken is packed with flavor and the cucumber adds the perfect crunch! I always use cottage cheese, but some other toppings I play with are: sliced carrots, apples, greek olives or fresh salsa.
Oscar Mayer Selects Natural is the perfect choice for anyone looking for quality cold cuts that have no artificial ingredients and delicious taste. Selects Natural has no artificial preservatives (the back side of each package lists the ingredients used to preserve quality), no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, no gluten and no by-products. It’s one childhood pleasure that’s still good enough for adult-Tracy.
Oscar Mayer Selects Natural is available in five flavorful varieties including Slow Roasted Turkey, Applewood Smoked Turkey, Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken, Applewood Smoked Ham and Slow Roasted Roast Beef.
