I don’t know about you, but I love everything about my son’s grooming products. I’ve found that a lot of bath and body items for babies are wonderful for mamas too! They’re gentle, soothing and leave you smelling like your sweet little lovey.
Here are some items I love sharing with my little guy.
This smells like HEAVEN and it’s so calming. I used to constantly sniff my hands after I’d bathe the baby in the sink. Once he started getting baths in the big boy tub and this was in my reach, I started using it every day. It smells delicious and it’s super hydrating. I can’t tell you how many friends have commented on how amazing Max’s hair smells.
This balm is a cure-all. I use it on minor scratches (which we get a lot now that we’re mobile) and mild diaper rashes for baby- and it’s perfect for my lips and elbows. I had a nasty cold recently and this was magic on my nose. I wasn’t a fan of Honest Company’s diapers (I think every baby has a diaper brand that fits them well and this wasn’t for us), but I have loved every grooming and cleaning product I’ve tried. I’m also a huge fan of their prenatal vitamins. They’re the only brand I was able to stomach during that woozy first trimester.
These were a God-send while we were traveling. I love them for cleaning up Max’s hands and face after he eats, or wiping down toys. I realized while we were on vacation that they’re also great for removing makeup and freshening up. I don’t leave home without them.
This sunscreen was recommended to me by a friend (thanks, Anna!), and I feel really good about using it on our whole family. It’s certified organic, free of chemicals and offers great protection. I also like the natural scent.
I usually just run the smallest amount of baby lotion through Max’s hair before I brush it, but this came in a gift set we were given and I decided to give it a try. It dries fairly soft and a little goes a long way on baby. It’s also great to tame fly-aways or as eyebrow gel on mama.
Those are my favorite mommy/baby beauty products. What are yours? Shave with Johnson & Johnson bedtime wash? Freshen up with baby powder? Let me know in the comments below!
