Kitchen Reveal

Hey Crafty,

I feel like it’s been ages since I posted kitchen progress! I had grand plans of waiting to post until every last detail was hung and placed, but I’m starting to realize that finding the perfect artwork and accessories can’t be rushed. We’re completely done with the actual renovation, all the kitchen’s missing are some pops of artwork and custom shades which we’ll purchase down the road.

We still need to:

  • Find affordable window treatments or DIY our own (colorful roman shades)
  • Buy a long rug for the sink/dishwasher area
  • Add some color and personality with a butchers block and countertop accessories
  • Find art for the bar area wall (above backsplash)
  • Work our way into the dining room (Eeeek!)

What an amazing feeling it is to have this done before Max arrives! We still have a ton to do in our home, but all the other demo will be confined to small spaces like bathrooms, and shouldn’t take so long (wishful thinking). My husband and a handful of his friends really busted their bootys on this project, and I’m so grateful. I should also mention that we were extremely happy with the work we had done through Lowes. On to the next project! *gulp*
