Fala Bar LA

I’ve been dying to try out LA’s healthy new eatery, ‘Fala Bar‘ and last Thursday I finally got to! Fala Bar is located at 7751 1/2 Melrose Ave (cross street Fairfax) in a sweet little space with outdoor seating.

Whether you’re picky, vegan, on-the-go, diet conscious, allergy restricted or lactose intolerant- they’ve got you covered. Their menu is 100% vegan and doesn’t contain any dairy, egg or nuts. Everything is gluten free with the exception of the pita, which can be substituted with a cabbage leaf wrap.

I stopped by with one of my favorite fellow bloggers, Jess Lizama (check out her blog), for a quick meal before an event and we loved it!

Fala Bar is a quick and easy authentic Mediterranean Falafel Bar & Salad Bar serving organic, vegan, and locally fresh meals to Angeleno’s on the go. Prices range from $5.00 to $13.50 and the food is out of this world.

Jess and I both ordered the Fala Me To Runyan ($13.50) which is mixed greens, quinoa tabouli, Brussels sprout salad, Israeli salad, white cabbage and tahini. We added falafel- 2 sweet potato and 2 spicy. If you love super spicy food you will love the spicy falafel (which I did), but my personal favorite was the sweet potato- SO GOOD! They also serve Harmless Harvest Coconut Water which is by far the best bottled coconut water on this planet.

If neither one of those falafel flavors sound up your alley, they have more!

If the delicious food isn’t reason enough to support this business, all of the wood used to build the shop is refurbished and all of the packaging is recycled. Responsible, delicious and nutritious. Have you visited Fala Bar? What did you think?
